Fundraising Caller

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Fundraising Caller

  • Location: Elmhurst, IL / Remote

  • Full Time/Part Time: Part time (16-20 hours per week)

  • Hours: Flexible scheduling Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-8:00pm. Sundays required 12:00pm-4:00pm.

What you will do:

  • Communicate via phone / email as a representative of the Foundation with designated prospective donors

  • Reflect the values and culture of the Foundation in all aspects of performance

  • Utilize the training provided in bonding, cultivation and solicitation of family base of prospects

  • Utilize the training provided to properly handle all prospect and/or donor questions

  • Achieve the identified statistics through the provided calling hardware/software necessary to realize success

  • Identify patterns and trends and opportunities for improvement

  • Adhere to all policies and procedures as required by HR

  • Regularly review all program aspects with Foundation Supervisor in conjunction with counsel

  • Keep current on Hospital/System developments/news

  • Maintain a positive work environment as part of the Foundation's team

What you will need:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED

  • Unique or Preferred Skills:

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

    • Strong verbal skills to effectively communicate over the telephone

    • Strong grammar and spelling skills to effectively communicate via e-mail

    • Strong organizational skills

    • Aptitude for organization, people and non-routine situations

    • Goal oriented, making use of reports/statistics
