Job Description
Position Title: Iron Casting Grinder - 1st Shift
Wage: $16.00 per hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 5:30am-4:00pm (Mon-Thurs)
QPS Employment Group has a great Iron Casting Grinder position available at a company in Hamilton, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Iron Casting Grinder Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform grinding operations on iron castings to remove contacts and parting lines, ensuring smooth and even surfaces.
- Utilize a variety of grinding tools and equipment such as angle grinders, belt sanders, and hand files to achieve desired finishes.
- Inspect finished castings to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, making any necessary adjustments or corrections as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating grinding equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the proper storage and maintenance of grinding tools and equipment.
Iron Casting Grinder Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- A keen eye for detail, a steady hand, and the ability to work efficiently to produce high-quality finished products.
