Position Highlights:

  • Position:Radiation Therapist$10,000Sign on Bonus
  • Location:EvanstonHospital
  • Full Time/Part Time:Full-Time (40 hrs/wk)
  • Hours:Day shift, and on-call requirements 6-8 weekends per year
  • Required Travel:Must be willing to float to other NorthShore hospitals as needed

What you will need:

  • License:IEMA License and application of ARRT required. Must obtain ARRT 2 years after employment.
  • Education:Completion of radiation therapy program; minimum of a two-year associate degree/certificate required
  • Certification:CPR certification required
  • Experience:Previous experience strongly preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills required.

What you will do:

  • Administer radiation for the purpose of treating diseases, primarily cancer
  • Perform simulations, treatment planning, and special procedures
  • Perform quality assurance activities, detecting equipment malfunctions and taking appropriate action
  • Perform weekly chart checks
