Responsibilities | Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University's Mission and Catholic and Lasallian higher education. Responsible to model, teach and promote the unit standards for the Department of Education as a critical transformative educator, a multicultural educator and a social justice advocate. -To teach in person or online one or more classes in Educational Leadership (Principal Preparation, Teacher Leadership, Special Education Director, or Doctoral). -Availability to hold office hours and meet with other faculty members and department chairs or directors when necessary |
Minimum Qualifications | Previous experience in the subject matter applied for. Credential in the area of subject matter applied for; applicants for positions teaching in Principal Preparation, Teacher Leader, Special Ed Director, and Superintendent must have an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsements. Terminal degree required to teach at doctoral and master's levels; master's degree considered with extensive, specific experience in the program area (master's level teaching only). Commitment to principles of critical, ethical and moral leadership. Experienced in using technologies such as Learning Management Systems (Blackboard), as well as Data Management. Supplemental Questions I hold an active Illinois Professional Educators License with at least one supervisory endorsement. (yes/no) |
